Edinburg North High School (commonly ENHS, Edinburg North, or North) is a public secondary school in Edinburg, Texas, United States, serving students in grades 912. The school is part of the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District, with admission based primarily on the locations of students' homes. Edinburg North is a two-time Blue Ribbon School and a Texas Exemplary School.

ENHS administers more Advanced Placement tests each year than any other school west of the Mississippi River and all but one school in the United States.[3] The school is accredited by the Texas Education Agency as well as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. ENHS was ranked in the top 1,300 high schools in the United States in 2008.[4] ENHS' mascot is the Cougar.

As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 2,558 students and 148.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 17.2.[1]

Recent district expansion has added a performing arts center to each of ECISD's high schools (all completed November 2010), including at Edinburg North.[5]
